Deputy Party Secretary Li Yuxin of the Group Conducts Research on Party Building Work at BRIMET and Its Subsidiaries

Recently, Li Yuxin, Deputy Party Secretary and Director of China Academy of Machinery Science and Technology Group, led a research team to conduct special research on the 15th Five-Year Plan Party Building Blueprint and Party building work of mixed-ownership subsidiaries at BRIMET and its subordinate enterprises.
On July 3, the research team paid an on-site visit to the laboratory of the National Engineering Research Center for Precision Forming under BRIMET to learn about its latest innovation achievements. Li Xianjun, Deputy Party Secretary and General Manager of BRIMET, gave a detailed briefing on the progress of Party building work from three dimensions: activating the driving force of the credit-enhancing and empowerment Party building brand matrix, further implementing the Seven Initiatives Project, and deepening the in-depth integration of Party building with production and operation. He also delivered a key report on ideas, measures and innovative practices for forging ahead on a new journey guided by Party building during the 15th Five-Year Plan period.
On June 25, the research team inspected the equipment production workshop of CFM on-site to get an update on its operation status. Zhang Changlong, General Manager of CFM, delivered a key report on positive practices including integrating Party leadership into corporate governance, leveraging the strengths of Party organizations in mixed-ownership enterprises to boost corporate competitiveness and preserve and increase the value of state-owned assets.
Deputy Secretary Li Yuxin affirmed the achievements of BRIMET’s Party building work during the 14th Five-Year Plan period and its strategic thinking for the 15th Five-Year Plan. He put forward three requirements for BRIMET to leverage high-quality Party building to guide and guarantee high-quality development: First, focus on fulfilling the Three Roles — the role of organizational leadership, the bastion of battle, and the exemplary vanguard role of Party members. Consolidate and refine existing experience and practices, and innovate mechanisms to identify effective working paths. Second, keep matters of national significance firmly in mind. Prioritize two core tasks: fostering business development and cultivating talent teams, and fully and meticulously implement the decisions and deployments of the Party Central Committee, SASAC and the Group. Third, formulate targeted and distinctive development expressions. Develop a coherent and proactive development roadmap for BRIMET covering all levels for the 15th Five-Year Plan, stimulate development vitality through pooled collective wisdom, and deliver solid results of credit enhancement and empowerment by tapping into the value of Party building leadership.
Fu Zhanwen and Zhang Xiaohui, Deputy Directors of the Group’s Mass Work Department, He Linghua and Yang Jingming, Division Chiefs, Zhan Li, Secretary of the Commission for Discipline Inspection of BRIMET, as well as relevant Party branch secretaries and department heads participated in the research.
