On June 14th, Jiang Chao, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman, and General Manager of the Institute of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, led a team to connect and exchange ideas with CNOOC Engineering Company. Chairman Jiang Chao visited the digital exhibition hall of Offshore Oil Engineering Company and the intelligent manufacturing base located in Tianjin Lingang. The two sides had discussions and exchanges on the progress, follow-up arrangements, and deepening cooperation of the jointly undertaken "Development of Ultra Deep Water Pile Hammer System" project.
Chairman Wang Zhangling introduced the advantageous business and development layout of CNOOC in offshore wind power, oil and gas extraction, and overseas engineering. In the future, CNOOC will focus on deep water engineering and intelligent manufacturing of offshore equipment. He particularly pointed out that CNOOC, as the leader of the deep-sea product industry chain and alliance leader, sincerely invites China National Machinery Corporation Group and Institute of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering to join and play a greater role in key links of the industry chain.
Chairman Jiang Chao briefly introduced the overall situation of China National Machinery Engineering Corporation Group and the Institute of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, and exchanged ideas on the collaborative research and development of key equipment for deep and offshore engineering construction, the construction of far-reaching offshore engineering equipment technology centers, and the operation and maintenance of offshore pile engineering equipment.
