Recently, Qin Hanjun, Party Secretary and Chairman of the Group, visited and conducted research on its Beijing-based subsidiaries including Beijing Automation Research Institute, BRIMET, China Machinery Certification & Inspection, Jike Co., Ltd., National Institute of Basic Machinery, National Institute of Lightweight Technology, Gongyan Capital and Institute of Innovation. He stressed that all units must thoroughly study and implement General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important instructions and directives concerning relevant industries and fields, persist in strengthening and optimizing core businesses, continuously deepen reform and innovation, steadily enhance core functions and core competitiveness, and provide strong support for accelerating the development of world-class science and technology enterprises.
Qin Hanjun listened to reports from principals of each institution covering production and operation, deepening reforms, talent team development, Party building, completion of the 14th Five-Year Plan and layout planning for the 15th Five-Year Plan, and affirmed the achievements made by relevant entities.
Qin Hanjun stated that all units should raise their political standing, thoroughly study and implement the spirit of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee, consistently strengthen Party building, and guide high-quality development through high-standard Party building. They shall systematically summarize the implementation outcomes of the 14th Five-Year Plan, always keep major national priorities in mind, and scientifically formulate development blueprints for the 15th Five-Year Plan based on national strategic demands and industrial development trends. It is imperative to fully implement work safety responsibilities, focus on key sectors and critical links, intensify investigation and rectification of hidden risks, and resolutely prevent and curb all types of work safety accidents. All staff must strictly observe political discipline and rules, further advance efforts to improve Party conduct and build a clean government, strengthen awareness of integrity in professional practice, and foster a sound political ecosystem featuring integrity and a favorable environment for dedicated work.
