Party Secretary Li Xianjun led all attending Party members to thoroughly study General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important expositions on fostering a correct view of political achievements. The group gained an in-depth understanding of the core essence of this view, including the spirit of "Success does not have to be achieved in my tenure, yet I must contribute to every success" and the requirement to "be willing to take on responsibilities, dare to take on responsibilities, and excel at taking on responsibilities". He elaborated on the fundamental requirements of a correct view of political achievements, namely "for whom we deliver achievements, what kind of achievements we pursue, and how we deliver them".
Combined with the Institute of Electromechanical Engineering’s strategic plan for the 15th Five-Year Plan period, he put forward practical requirements for practicing a correct view of political achievements: First, broaden horizons and make painstaking efforts. Faced with new tasks, we must work diligently, upgrade our thinking patterns, optimize our knowledge structure, and comprehensively enhance professional competence. Second, accumulate wisdom and deliver tangible results. We should keep learning with dedication, steadily push forward all work items, and continuously build up the wisdom to fulfill our duties through practice. Third, strengthen accountability and temper hard-core capabilities. We shall adopt a resolute work style, unwavering willpower and self-disciplined spirit to surmount obstacles and constantly surpass ourselves.
This Party lecture further unified ideological understanding and built consensus for forging ahead. All Party members of the branch will take this lecture as an opportunity to continuously strengthen theoretical armament, align their thoughts and actions with core tasks including tackling key technologies and supporting business development, integrate the correct view of political achievements into daily work, stay true to the original aspiration, take solid responsibilities through hard work, and contribute to the steady and sound high-quality development of the Institute of Electromechanical Engineering.
