Party Secretary Li Xianjun Delivers Special Party Lecture on the Spirit of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee to the Party Branch of CFM

On December 4, Li Xianjun, Party Secretary of the Institute of Electromechanical Engineering and Chairman of CFM, delivered a special Party lecture on studying and implementing the spirit of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China to the Party Branch of the Heat Treatment Center and the Party Branch of CFM. Titled Pool Efforts to Conclude the Remarkable 14th Five-Year Plan Period, Boost Confidence and Empower Layout for the 15th Five-Year Plan, the lecture guided all Party members of the two branches to thoroughly grasp the essence of the Session’s spirit and align their thinking and actions with the company’s development strategies for the 15th Five-Year Plan period.
During the lecture, centered on General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important speech at the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee and the Suggestions adopted at the Session, Secretary Li Xianjun systematically expounded the great historical significance and practical guiding value of the Session. Combining the business characteristics of the CFM Party Branch, he emphasized the specific requirements for the Institute of Electromechanical Engineering to implement strategic deployments including building a modern industrial system, maintaining a reasonable proportion of the manufacturing sector, and developing new quality productive forces. He encouraged Party members to base themselves on the core business of R&D and manufacturing of forging equipment, continuously make breakthroughs in lightweight material forming technology and iteration of high-end forging equipment, and contribute to the company’s industrial upgrading.
Cao Yubin, Secretary of the CFM Party Branch, presided over the study and discussion session. He stated that the branch would take this lecture as an opportunity to closely integrate the study and implementation of the spirit of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee with advancing high-quality development of the forging business, and identify key work breakthrough points anchored in the strategic goals of the 15th Five-Year Plan.
During the discussion, Party members shared their learning insights and practical work ideas in light of their respective job responsibilities. All participants agreed that they should translate the Session spirit into concrete actions to overcome difficulties, focus on core businesses to strengthen technological research, take the initiative in advancing the high-end, intelligent and green transformation of traditional industries, and inject strong momentum into the delivery of the Institute’s industrial development blueprint for the 15th Five-Year Plan with solid performance.
